We are excited to present a brand-new event to the Wearable Art Mandurah calendar – Preview ’22.

This is a must-attend event if you want the opportunity to catch a sneak peek of Wearable Art Mandurah’s 2022 competition garments, months ahead of the annual Showcase event in October.

During the weekend, 70 garments will be presented in their category sections, as an intimate catwalk experience in the Mandurah Performing Arts Centre foyer. Each garment will be modelled professionally by Metro Agency, and styled according to instructions given by the designer who created the garment. The artist statements and construction methods will also be read out by an MC, giving the audience a unique insight into the garment’s meaning and creation.

There will be four sessions over the two days:

Saturday 30 July

10:00am – 12:00pm Avant Garde Category

2:00pm – 4:00pm Paper Category, Elemental Category

Sunday 31 July

10:00am – 12:00pm Tertiary Category and Youth 12/under Category

2:00pm – 4:00pm Youth 13-18 Category
