'Uplifting' Art Bras for a Cause

Support Australians living with Breast Cancer and own a spectacular piece of 'supportive' wearable art.

"Uplifting" Art Bras for Cause is a fundraising initiative of Powertex Art Supplies of Australia in support of Breast Cancer Awareness.

Bras are generously donated by the artists... BID for a BRA and own one TODAY!!!

Event organiser Ashley Hay is a Perth artist and the importer for Powertex Art Supplies for Australia. As a two time finalist of Wearable Art Mandurah, she has been involved with all aspects of the competition including the showcase, campaign shoots, various exhibitions and facilitating the popular workshop Creating Sculptural Form in Wearable Art.

In October 2017, 'Uplifting' Art Bras for a Cause presented awards to the following artists:

Breast in Show  (AUCTION item #7 Tits in a Tangle by Donna Ree Muir)

Most Titillating  (A Family Affair by Sue Calderbank)

Cups of Creativity  (Need a Lift? by Melissa Walmsley)

Power-up  (AUCTION Item 021 Twin Peaks by Lin Reading)

People’s Choice  (AUCTION Item 031 More than My Breast by Di Michelle Christie).

Artist Ashley Hay, is passionate about supporting the Arts and giving back to the local community. Working tirelessly with her team of key people, including Renee Warwick, Sue Calderbank and Heather Gilmour, they volunteered their time to put this incredible event together.
