James Holmyard 1929-2009

Professional artist, writer and philosopher, James Holmyard was a man that touched many lives. Over the 40 years of his artistic career, he worked predominantly in oils. He showed a natural affinity and sensitivity towards the Australian landscape. With over 53 exhibitions, his works are now in collections throughout Australia, America and Europe.

Widely recognised for the photo realism of his work, colour control, tonal values and captured light. The traditional works of art speak for themselves.

He passed away in 2009, leaving a legacy of over 3000 paintings scattered throughout the world.
