Wearable Art Mandurah encourages new ways of viewing the world through thought-provoking works of art for the body.
More than a competition, it builds capacity through workshops, showcase events and exhibitions of works.
Stories are shared, connections formed and skills developed through participants’ creation and presentation of wearable art. The Wearable Art Mandurah team supports and encourages participants throughout the entire design, creation, judging and presentation process.

Be part of Wearable Art Mandurah 2019: Entries for 2019 will open in July 2018. The competition is open to participants of all skill levels, ages and design forms.

Immerse yourself if the Wearable Art experience! Two full-length productions at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre promise to delight audiences, incorporating a sense of play, musicality and theatricality, while presenting spectacular wearable art from our WAM finalists.

The best of our emerging and established artists’ works will be presented at Alcoa Mandurah Art Gallery (AMAG) and Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM).

Registered participants (individuals and groups) who fulfil the above criteria and pass the pre-selection and judging processes are eligible go into the pool to win cash and prizes with a total value of more than $11,000.
